Junggesellenabschied. Ladys muessen draussen bleiben... Mal sehen, ob der Braeutigam morgen dann gerade stehen kann, um "Yes, I do." zu sagen. *gg* (was simma wieda boese... *harhar*) I thinks, his girlfriend would not be amused if he couldn,t. ;-)

Liebe Gruesse! :)

Goodbye Australia!

I can't really believe it yet, but my time in Australia is over now. I will be on my way to the airport in approx. three hours and that is it. I will be back home in 30 hours. Wow... I don't have to say much at the moment but I would like to take the chance to say "Thank You" to a few people who made my stay here a special one:

First of all to Astrid for being my "post office" (recieving and forwarding mail) and for inviting me into her home every time I needed a bed, food and Internet in Sydney. ;-) Thank you so much!

To "Mausezahn" Brit. We had a bloody good and sometimes a really strange and crazy time together and I would take you to a trip to everywhere at any time again. Hope to see you soon back in good old Germany!

To Joern, Heike, Paul, Kristin, Mark, Valerie and many others who, each in their own way, made this trip a memorable one.

Well, that is it. I will let you know once I'm safe back in Germany. Have fun, guys! :-)

Cycling on "Rotto"

About 15 kilometers from Fremantle (which is a 20 minute train-ride from Perth) lies Rottnest Island. The island ist only 11 kilometers long and approximately 5 kilometers wide. It represents a good spot for a daytrip or some longer holidays. Private cars are forbidden on the island which is why almost everyone hires a bike there and cycles around. So did we:

rottnest

„Rotto“, as the locals call it, is perfect for swimming and snorkeling – the water is very shallow and all over the island you can find awsome lonely beaches and bays. I had a hot and sunny day there on Wednesday (cycling on the island) and a cool and tenseful one yesterday (diving around the island). It`s definitely worth a visit.
